License Agreement

A royalty-free license permits the user to use the licensed material without the need to pay royalties or license fees for each use, per each copy, or in the case of volume of use.

Usage of License 

The user can incorporate the material into their work, modify it, and distribute their final product in multiple channels without the obligation to make additional payments. However, the license is non-exclusive, meaning the same material can also be licensed to other users. It's important to note that while the license offers considerable flexibility, it may come with specific restrictions. These restrictions are listed below.

 

By acquiring an IndieTips license, IndieTips grants you the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable privilege and authorization indefinitely to utilize a Recording in alignment with the terms and conditions of the Agreement. As compensation for the license you procure, you are obliged to remit to IndieTips an explicit license fee.

 

Under the terms of this royalty-free license agreement, the licensee is granted the unrestricted right to use the licensed music in projects of any nature, regardless of the project's size, budget, or distribution extent. This agreement explicitly allows for the incorporation of the music into a wide range of projects, from small, personal endeavors to extensive, high-budget commercial productions. The licensee may utilize the music for various purposes, including but not limited to background music, theme music, or any auditory enhancement within the project, without the need for additional payments or fees based on the project's exposure, distribution scale, or financial success.

 

This comprehensive usage right ensures that the licensee can employ the music to fulfill their creative vision or business objectives across multiple platforms and mediums, including but not limited to online content, broadcast media, corporate presentations, and advertising campaigns, thereby providing significant flexibility and freedom in the project's development and distribution.

Restrictions 

You may not:

  • Sell, transfer, sublicense, share, distribute, or otherwise assign the Recordings or your rights granted hereunder to any third party.
  • Market the Recording by itself or as a component of a collection except strictly as incorporated within your Production.
  • Offer the Recording (or make it accessible) in any way that allows a third party to download the Recording as a standalone file, such as through audio-only YouTube videos. 
  • Offer the Recording (or make it accessible) as part of any direct competitor's product like music compilations or music libraries.
  • Market the Recording (or make it accessible) as, or as part of, your music or your song, even if modified or edited, or even if you have added other instruments or vocals.
  • Claim ownership or copyright of the Recording or any derivative work based on the Recording.

You hereby recognize that IndieTips remains the holder of all rights, titles, and interests in the Recording, including but not limited to any copyrights associated with it.

Previews of Recordings found on our SoundCloud channel are strictly for internal validation purposes and must not be employed for any other objectives, including but not limited to, unauthorized use in commercial projects, advertisements, digital content, or video synchronization.

The Recording is safeguarded by and subject to British and international copyright laws. This license is non-exclusive, and IndieTips retains the authority to sell licenses of the Recording to other parties at its sole discretion.
